Lexington and Concord Battle
- Lexington and Concord fought on April 19th 1775 in Providence Massachusetts Bay.
- The British marched out of Boston to take out colonists in Lexington.
- They destroyed military weapons at Concord.
- The British wanted to capture leaders Sam Adams and John Hancock.
Bunker Hill
- The Bunker Hill battle was June 17 1775.
- The British won the battle.
- It was 2,400 British and !,500 Americans.
- 1,150 British troops were killed and 450 Americans were killed(www.britishbattles.com)
- The Americans ran out of gunpowder so they had to surrender.
- The colonists got strength from the lost.
- They lost the battle but still considered it a win

Primary Document / Boston Non-Importation Agreement
In August 1768 The Merchants and traders in the town of Boston having taken into consideration the deplorable situation of the trade, and many difficulties it at present labor under on account of the money. Which is daily increasing discharge debts in Great Britain and continue the imports of goods. First that we will not send for or import from Great Britain. Secondly that we will not send for or import any goods or merchandise from Great Britain. Thirdly we will not purchase of any factor or any imported by Great Britain. Fourthly we will not import on our own or commissions or purchase of any other colony in America. Fifthly we will not from and after 1st of January 1764 imported any tea, paper or glass until the act imposing duties on those articles shall he repealed. (wwwushistory.org
This means the Boston merchants and traders aren't allowed to import or export items that were from Great Britain. This was called a boycott restrictions to trade with their mother country. This protest followed the Townshend Revence Act which is a tax to pay for the purpose of some goods like tea.
